Audio Evidence
EVP or Electronic Voice Phenomenona, is when a voice is picked up on audio equipment but not heard with human ears at the time. We only have a few EVPS to date, but we are very vigilant about debunking potential EVPs as it is extremely easy to mistake a natural audio source for something paranormal. The following EVPs were thouroughly examined before we accepted them as potenial evidence.
EVP #1
This EVP was captured in a home in Northern Illinois. It was caught in a room where a man died in the 1930's and the client confirmed that this was a voice he had heard in this room before. There were no investigators in the room at the time, we had just gone downstairs for a break and we all had passed this room less than a minute before we caught the EVP. We think he may just be a bit shy!

We think it's a man saying hi or hiya. We assume he is the man that died in the thirties but we did not get any evidence to confim it.

EVP #2
This EVP was captured on the same investigation as above. It occurs as two investigators are talking about the bed looking for possible natural explanations in a bedroom that had seen much activity over the years, from sounds, to objects moving and apparitions.
A third voice is heard whispering between and over the investigators.

This particular EVP drives us crazy. We think we can discern a voice that should not be there but we cannot make out what it is trying to say. Out of all the EVPs we have captured, we consider this one to be the weekest.

EVP #3
This EVP was captured on another investigation in Northern Illinois. It was captured in the last 10 minutes of the investigation. Two investigators were present, and they heard nothing at the time. Another investigator was in the room next door and did not speak at this time nor did she hear anythin other than the two investigatiors talking. The client and her family were not in the house at the time.

Hands down our favorite and best EVP to date. To us it sounds like a small child saying "Who's that crying?" What makes this particularily interesting is that one of the claims in this case is that the children in the home are interacting with a "ghost child". The other thing that makes us think that this is an intelligent haunting is the fact that earlier in the evening, someone was crying. (Long story, but sometimes investigating potential spirits of the dead can bring up emotions in an investigator when they least expect it. We are all human and it happens.) To us this indicates that the possible entity is trying to interact with the people in the house and seems concerned or at least interested in what happens in the house.
